Waltz

Walt is a sweeping, gliding dance which twists and turns as it moves counterclockwise around the dance floor. The broad sliding steps and gentle sway give it a fluid rise and fall motion.

Tango

Tango is a strong passionate dance with sharp dramatic accents and controlled movements.  The typical Hollywood rendition includes holding a rose in your mouth, pressing your cheek to your partner's cheek as you stalk across the floor.

Foxtrot

A smooth walking dance. Like taking a stroll around the dance floor with a few quick steps and jaunty patterns for added character. If you imagine Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers gliding across the floor, most of the time it was a foxtrot based routine.

Chacha

Cha cha is a fun flirty dance with fast footwork and body rhythms. It's related to the Mambo/Salsa and utilizes the triple step rhythm from the swing. The fast percussive dance fits easily to most contemporary club music.
